The Seeds We have partnered with an agricultural science company that has been working on this since sulforaphane was first discovered in the early 1990’s. Their mission was to develop a new variety of broccoli seed that yields far more sulforaphane than any other, and they have succeeded. This new variety of seed is what gives BROQ its power.

What makes BROQ better than every other sulforaphane supplement?

BROQ delivers more sulforaphane per serving than any other product on the planet. Here's why that is critically important: All the most impressive studies that found significant health benefits from sulforaphane used high doses of sulforaphane—30 to 70mg. Third-party lab tests show that 100% of sulforaphane products (except BROQ) deliver far less than the quantity of sulforaphane shown on the label. [Also: with the exception of one product, there are no sulforaphane supplements sold in the US that actually contain sulforaphane.] Getting the amount of daily sulforaphane used in the studies is difficult to impossible with virtually all other supplements. According to the third-party lab tests of the top 21 sulforaphane supplements: - 11 of the supplements deliver less than 1mg sulforaphane per serving - 7 of them deliver between 2mg and 9mg sulforaphane per serving - 2 of them deliver between 14mg and 16mg per serving - 1 of them—BROQ—delivers 25mg per serving It's up to you which supplement you choose, but you'll need to get to a total of 30 to 70mg per day if you expect the same benefits found in the studies. We created BROQ with the goal of providing you with the world's best sulforaphane supplement—not the cheapest. With that said, if you look at the cost per milligram of sulforaphane of all sulforaphane supplements, BROQ is far and away the least expensive.

    Well-Studied for Safety

Sulforaphane has been extensively studied and is regarded as safe for human use. Clinical research shows that it is well-tolerated in a range of doses, even when taken daily over extended periods (Egner et al., 2011).

    Wide Margin of Safety

Doses up to 71 mg/day have been tested in humans without evidence of toxicity or serious adverse reactions. This demonstrates that sulforaphane has a broad safety profile, even at higher supplementation levels (Clarke et al., 2011).

    Rigorous Testing in Clinical Studies

Clinical trials involving sulforaphane supplements have adhered to rigorous safety protocols, further confirming its non-toxic nature. These studies consistently report no significant health risks across different populations (Bahadoran et al., 2020).

    Precautions for Specific Populations

While sulforaphane is safe for most people, individuals with thyroid conditions or those taking blood-thinning medications should consult a healthcare provider before use. Compounds in cruciferous-derived ingredients may affect thyroid hormone levels in sensitive individuals, particularly at very high doses (Bjorkman et al., 2011).

    Trusted by Researchers

Sulforaphane continues to be widely studied due to its strong safety record and promising applications. Its stability and well-documented tolerability make it a reliable option for those looking to support their health (Kensler et al., 2012). References Bahadoran, Z., Mirmiran, P., & Azizi, F. (2020). Will l feel an effect from BRoQ? How long will it take?

In the four years BROQ has been on the market, we've heard many reports from customers who noticed significant benefits—sometimes within days of starting, and sometimes after 1-2 months. These noticeable benefits felt by some BROQ customers have included increased energy, improvement in chronic pain, enhanced cognitive function and faster healing. Although sulforaphane can improve performance, what's more valuable is its potential impact on overall health. To measure the impact of sulforaphane on your health, you might want to do a full panel of blood tests before and after taking BROQ for 90 days (or more). These are the biomarkers to focus on.
